Advanced Software Technology Sdn Bhd (AST) is a distributor in Malaysia for System21 Aurora enterprise solution from Infor, an existing Golden Gate Capital funded company. AST is also a distributor for MPC Business Performance Management System from Extensity. AST started its operation with a mission to provide a complete range of business solutions for medium to large organizations. Our solution focus are Financials, Customer Service & Logistics, Distribution and Manufacturing, as well as Business Performance Management.

AST is relatively a young company but we have a team of people with years of experience in implementing ERP solutions. Our consultants have strong skills, expertise and capabilities of conducting System21 implementation for companies in various industries.  We believe in team effort and in AST our people is the key success factor to our organization.

Richard Tan Managing Director   Mr Richard Tan is the Managing Director of Advanced Software Technology Sdn Bhd (AST), responsible to lead and manage the overall strategic direction of AST.    Previously, he assumed the role of the Managing Director and shareholder of JBA Asia Sdn Bhd, an international ERP provider. In international areas, he was a Regional Finance & Business Development Director for System Software Associates Inc (SSA), where he was leading the setting up of operations in Taiwan, Korea, Hong Kong and China. He was then appointed as the Managing Director for SSA Malaysia in 1995.    He graduated from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. He holds a First Class Honours degree in Bachelor of Commerce and Administration. Mr Richard Tan is also a Qualified Chartered Accountant (NZ) and a member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).    Email:

Lim Tek Leong   Mr Lim Tek Leong is responsible to lead and manage all key project implementations and customer support of AST.  He started his career as a Programmer for an IBM Business Partner supporting an ERP Product called BPCS from System Software Associates Inc (SSA). Prior to joining AST, he has had exposure to other ERP Applications like JBA System 21, Microsoft Navision, JDEdwards and BPCS.  He holds a Professional HND British Computer Society (Part 1) from United Kingdom.   Email:

Maryline J. Salang   Ms. Maryline Salang is responsible to lead and manage the sales and pre-sales activities of AST.    She started her career in accounting profession and served various capacities in Sales & Marketing, Business Development and Consulting. She has experience in the implementation of accounting and payroll software for small to large companies. She also has experience in the Change Management and Balanced Scorecard implementation projects for Public Listed Companies.   She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Business Accounting from University of Lincolnshire and Humberside from United Kingdom in 1997.       Email:
